Hello to all of you that came out last night for my In-Store Clinic in Marina, Ca store. What a GREAT Turn-Out! Also a big Thank You to REI for having me, and to all of you that decided to pick up a copy of my Forward Stroke DVD.

My next clinic will be in San Carlos Ca, on Sept 6 @ AQUAN SPORTS, feel free to go to their website http://www.aquansports.com and Sign Up for the full-day On-The-Water Clinic. This class will be filled with everything we went over last night, but will consist of Self Evaluation by means of Video as well. You can't beat this kind of training for understanding how best to move the boat. The beautiful thing about this type of training, is it happens FAST! You will no doubt be a stronger and more efficient paddler after attending.

Hey All: Come On Over to Half Moon Bay and let's have a GREAT Forward-Strok'n Day! Yep, July 26 @ 9 am we will hit the water for some "quality paddle-time". Come join seven other folks, (The maximum I allow per class size, this to ensure plenty of one-on-one face-time!), and learn how to increase your power and reduce fatigue & injury...What more could a Happy-Paddler ask for! ....I know more you could ask for...and in my class you are going to Get It...VIDEO of (you guessed it...) YOU! I'm absolutely sure the power of self-analysis by virtue of understanding the required key body movements and comparing them to what you see on The TV...(that would be you), makes the single fastest way to change a movement. Once you see it modeled, and then see what you need to do to change your own current muscle memory...it can really be quick & easy to gain that knowledge.

For all of you Kayakers out there who chose to COMMENT on my site, I have just realized that the COMMENT option had been blocked from my ability to respond. So I'M SORRY to not have replied if so requested! Hi all, over the years this site has been active with an option for folks to "comment" about any of my blog entries. Unknown to me, my newest anti-virus software was set up accidently to "block" each and every one of those comments! Whoops...and Super Sorry if you had asked a question, for which, no reply followed...Man, that's LAME!. This May 31st, Sunday, Brent Reitz will be Teaching his Forward Stroke Clinc @ Aqua Adventures! This is limited to a 1-Day event. Hi All,

Just a quick update to the Schedule. I'll be teaching a One-Day Forward Stroke Clinic for Jen and Jake at Aqua Adventures in Mission Bay come the end of the month. I'm only available for a single day, so that means the cut-off is 8 students. This clinic will be a complete Video-Based workshop. Hey, anyone out there interested in putting together 16 folks for an East Coast Weekend Clinic? Let me know! Hi Brent,

I just purchased your "Forward Stroke Clinic" video and absolutely love it.
I have learned so much watching it, and would love to follow up with a clinic, but I notice from past year's schedules that none of your clinics are on the East Coast. Do you plan on any clinics for 2009 in the NY - NJ area? If not, are there any clinics that you would recommend in this area?
In addition to improving my forward stroke, I would like to learn the technique for a wing paddle.

Thanks for your kind words about my film Tom. I hope it helps you to enjoy the sport that has given so much to me...
Regarding East Coast Clinics, I do not have anything set up out that way. The issue continues to be the ability to cover costs of getting there. If you or your Friends, Clubs or Paddling Shops, would like me to do a Clinic, out that way, feel free to contact me and maybe we can work out the details.
As far as clinics in your area, all I can suggest is to look up Kayak Symposiums in your area and go attend them. Maybe that will generate some more specific info. Cheers and thanks again for your kind words, brent reitz
